~Stockholm~

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden, and one of the cities that you need to visit. However, be careful, when visiting there is a big chance you might want to endup wanting to live here. The city is made up of 14 islands connected by around 50 bridges on Lake Mälaren, which flows into the Baltic Sea and passes an archipelago with around 24,000 islands and islets. Over 30% of the city area is made up of waterways and another 30% is made up of parks and green spaces, making Stockholm a very green city with probably the freshest air of any European capital.

The Stockholm archipelago is one of the world’s most spectacular. Stretching 80 kilometers east of the city center, the archipelago consists of 24,000 islands, islets and rocks. Stockholm’s Old Town is the beautifully preserved historical heart of Stockholm. It is a truly beautiful part of the city. In the Royal Palace and the royal family residence Drottningholm Palace, visitors can get in close contact with traditions of the Swedish monarchy. Among the wide range of museums, the Vasa museum with its 17th century warship and the Skansen open air museum are unique experiences. You should also visit The Natural History Museum, The Museum of Modern Art and the The Nordiska Museet.

Stockholm’s public transportation runs an extensive subway, commuter train and bus system as well as some tram, light rail and ferry services, all using an integrated ticket system. The standard of quality among the public transportation services is very high but there are still are a few older trains running during rush hour. Do yourself a favor and visit this place.
